Originally built in the early 1920s to serve as the historical Southwestern Telegraph and Telephone Company building, and extensively renovated in 1998, the Keystone Lofts have certainly undergone a renaissance, of sorts. A beautifully renovated façade has maintained the integrity of the building’s architecture, while the interior has undergone extensive changes to accommodate today’s homeowner. Although it is one of the smaller buildings in downtown Houston, it certainly doesn’t lack in amenities and features. Each of the 34, warehouse-style residences of the Keystone Lofts are between 1,350 and 4,400 square feet and feature hardwood floors, 10-foot ceilings with exposed beams, granite countertops, and spa bathrooms, complete with tiled, whirlpool tubs.
